Spanish - La Liga
Barcelona vs Real Madrid
Date:April 21, 2012 - Time 7:00 PM BST
Venue: Camp Nou — Barcelona
Referee:‬ Alberto Undiano Mallenco‎

Well Madridistas, today is the day. Amidst league stumbles and Champions League challenges, the big match has stealthily crept up on us. With the stakes as high as ever whenever it comes to the Clasico, or maybe even higher, both teams will be looking for a victory tonight.

The match will be featured in the Camp Nou, which gives Barcelona a definite home-field advantage. Also, is the significance of the match will be the motivation for both teams to perform. As it stands, the point difference between the summit and second place of La Liga has dwindled to four points. If Real Madrid manage to somehow pull off a victory tonight, they will extend the gap to seven points, which almost secures their title. If Barcelona win, the gap becomes one point, which means that if Real Madrid ever slip up, we will be at Barca's mercy and relying on them to slip up as well. And calling on from the past, that is not a pleasant place to be.
